As Eid al-Adha begins, I would like to offer warm regards to all Canadians and Islanders who are observing this religious festival.
The observance of Eid al-Adha is a time to visit with family and friends, while remembering those who are less fortunate and the importance of religion in one’s life.
I am hoping all Islanders can observe this time as a moment to support their fellow community members and learn about one another faith and culture. It is a time for all of us to come together and reflect on the positive support we can provide for each other.
